With the graduation of the class of 2025, the Drama club and Equity & Inclusion club have come together to host this year’s Open Mic Night! The show starts at 6:00 PM, April 30th, and tickets are $5 for students and $10 for non students.
Open Mic Night encourages students and staff to show off their talents to their peers. Previous performances have included singing, playing an instrument, and other forms of self expression. Of course these aren’t the only things that can be done, there’s reading poetry, standup comedy, short skits, and plenty of other hidden talents to share with your peers! Sign ups for Open Mic Night can be found here!
Similar to last year, this year’s Open Mic Night will have the addition of a Fashion Show! Students are encouraged to dress up and strut the runway to a song of their choice. Sign ups for the Fashion Show are located outside of Ms. Slayton’s room (2214) and are asked to sign up by this Friday, April 17th.
During the night and throughout this week at lunch, the Equity & Inclusion club will be selling club t-shirts. By purchasing a shirt at Open Mic Night or wearing one to the event, you will be entered in a raffle to earn a Marylou’s Gift Card. Shirts are $15 cash, and will be sold all three lunches through April 14th through April 16th and at Open Mic Night.
Open Mic Night starts at 6:00 PM on April 30th, tickets are $5 for students and $10 for non students. All proceeds from the night will support the Drama and Equity & Inclusion clubs, so come on down and support your friends and our school clubs!
