Benson Boone is back and not slowing down, with the Announcement of his debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades releasing April 5^th. For those who don’t know him Benson Boone is 21 years old and was born June 25^th, 2002, he is a singer – songwriter who makes pop music!

“Slow it Down” released 3/22/24 last single before the album’s release.

The newest song by Benson, titled “Slow it Down” is yet another hit by the young artist. The song takes a somewhat similar approach to his previous song “Beautiful Things” with the slow and soft beat steadily entering a loud and fun beat. The song is about slowing down a relationship moving too fast. Everybody has their own lives, and experiences that people haven’t had yet. Entering a new relationship is exciting and fun but also dangerous and you have to be cautious. On one hand we can see how happy and wonderful it can be, but Benson mentions in one line how “the only girl who hasn’t left is my mother” every relationship no matter how slow or fast and loving has always ended and that hurts. He or anyone can’t help but be anxious and scared of getting hurt and the song demonstrates that beautifully for both parties.

The song is just as, if it is not more wonderful, than the previous one and excites me for what will come next, and what comes next is Benson’s first official album, Fireworks & Rollerblades
