Bridgewater – After taking a 1-0 lead in the first intermission, the Abington boys allowed their opponents an unorthodox goal in the second. Despite a few chances for both sides in the third, neither team was able to score the winner. Goalie Joe Maly shut the door tight on some last minute chances including a nail biting short-handed situation with two minutes to go. The line of Brian Cashman, Kevin O’Neil and Justin Richards tried furiously to generate more offense. Defenseman Jake Hamilton was tough in the corners, taking advantage of every checking opportunity.
